FAQ

Product Information

All Original art is made by hand in my home studio in Washington State.

Woo Woo For You printing is done by the best printer I can find that balances cost, quality, environmental awareness, and supporting local small business in my area. Details for each print run will be in each item description.

Encaustic art is durable and long lasting at room temperatures. The Fayum mummy portraits made with encaustic medium have lasted 2,000 years! You may wish to hang it on a wall that doesn't get scorching direct sunlight. Certainly, don't leave it in a hot car. The melting point starts at about 150 degrees, so use that as a guiding piece of information to safely hang and position your new art.

Just Curious

My art often has a spiritual component as I examine my own non-religious understanding of the phases of the life cycle, death, and the mysterious beyond as my personal lived experience unfolds. It can get a little woo woo. Some people love to explore big concepts using their imaginations, stories, and myth. Others prefer to not. The name is an open invitation and can also be a warning if woo woo stuff isn't your thing.

Like: "Shy-er" or "Shire" from Lord of the Rings. Hard to spell, easy to say. :-)
