If you love playing with different mixed media art projects, please join me for this fun mini workshop to make wax paper art quilt blocks. Using beeswax encaustic medium and pigment, we will create encaustic monotypes that we will cut and collage into our own mini art quilt blocks. To finish, we will add decorative top stitching using sewing machines. Color, thread, pretty melting colors! It's so fun!!!

Beginners are welcome in this introductory class at Black Barn Fine Art Studio in Kingston, WA where we will learn hands on about creating with the fascinating medium of encaustic beeswax. Saturday February 8th 10:00am - 4:00pm $200 + $40 material fee
This is a special offering one week ahead of Mother's Day - a wonderful experience to create a special creative gift for Mom, or to have two family members, such as a mother and daughter, to create artwork to honor a special woman in the family. Taught at Black Barn Fine Art Studio in Kingston, WA. Workshop & material fees are per person.Saturday May 3rd 10:00am - 3:00pm $175 + $40 material fee per person

Current rates are $150 for 2-hour studio session, $300 for 4-hour session, $600 8-hour session. Prices cover 1 or 2 students.
